Karin Reed to Host Webcasts from 2017 SAS Global Forum April 2-5

By March 21, 2017Blog

Heads up to anyone planning to attend the 2017 SAS Global Forum, April 2-5 in Orlando, Florida. And for folks looking for another reason to attend the conference open to SAS software users from around the world—yours truly, Karin Reed, will be hosting live webcasts throughout each day of the event.

These “Newsday @ the Forum” webcasts will cover everything that’s happening at the Forum, plus I’ll be interviewing major players and will be coordinating updates from field reporters located at various venues, such as The Quad, a place to catch technology demos and to network with experts . . . and of course to kick back and mingle.

This is my 7th year hosting live webcasts from SAS Global Forum, and it’s always a thrill to meet such interesting and influential people in the SAS space.

SAS Global Users Group is a nonprofit organization open to SAS software users. Each year, the Group holds an international conference called SAS Global Forum to promote educational, training, networking, and professional development opportunities for SAS users. The forum also features an Executive Program that brings together senior executives, decision makers, and SAS users. Conference activities include networking events, hardware and software demonstrations, hands-on workshops, competitions, and a range of SAS information booths for consulting, training, publications, technical support, quality assurance, and users groups.

One highlight of this year’s forum is an address by Captain Sully Sullenberger, who will keynote the Executive Conference on Monday morning, April 3.

If you’re interested in joining the more than 4,000 SAS professionals expected to gather in Orlando this year, visit the 2017 SAS Global Forum for more information.
