Making Remote Meetings Work
Let's face it, our world has changed and so have the ways we meet. Through this practical guide based on thorough research and best practices, we are creating confident on-camera communicators at every level of the enterprise.
With so many relatively new virtual workers engaging in remote work and holding virtual meetings, a need for science-based help to optimize the virtual meeting is not only needed but has also been fervently requested by those who are struggling to find a way to make these meetings work. With so much uncertainty across the business landscape today, Suddenly Virtual can serve as a vital resource in navigating virtual meetings where video is at their core.
Today, being able to communicate through a camera is an essential skill and a powerful one. Video allows you to inspire and lead through the lens with unmatched immediacy and global reach.
This book is called a practical guide for a reason. It can be used to definitively help businesses make their meetings as efficient as possible by leveraging insight from some of the foremost thought leaders in meeting science and on-camera communication.
The adoption of virtual meeting technology has presented challenges as well as opportunities to those taking part. The challenges will be discussed throughout this book, as well as what the future holds. Along the way, you will learn practical and actionable best practices for productive and effective virtual meetings that impact the bottom line, steps you can take that are data-driven rather than based on just gut feeling. Karin and Joe bring complementary skills and backgrounds to the table to equip you with the tools you need to succeed in the 'new normal.' You will find checklists, case studies, reflections and more to get you and your team on the right track moving forward.
